Charges and Warranty

Estimate/Quotation Fee

My estimate/quote fee is 30.00. This charge covers the work involved in diagnosing the fault and providing you with an estimate/quote for the repair. This fee is not charged once the estimate/quote has been accepted - you only pay the quoted figure. If you decide to scrap the unit and leave it with us for any salvageable parts, the 30.00 estimate fee is not charged. You only pay the 30.00 if you decline the repair and wish to remove the item from my premises.

Repair costs

I charge a minimum of 30.00 for ANY work carried out. This includes the first half hour of labor time. Labor is charged at 25.00 per hour or part there of after the first half hour. Parts are charged at manufacture recommended price. I have fixed prices for the repair of certain popular equipment units.

Return of equipment

Equipment is returned via carrier, postal service or you may collect if convenient. The choice is yours and you will be charged accordingly. This charge is usually shown on your estimate/quote.

Warranty

I give 3 months warranty on all repairs carried out. Please note that this warranty covers parts fitted/labor and not the whole unit. I perform functional tests on all items after repair.

Unfortunately at the present time I can only offer credit card payments through paypal for online orders. This is a free service for purchaser please ask for details.
